Avi Meir, a seasoned sailor and windsurfer, works as a teacher
at the Nautical Sports Center in Eilat, Israel.

Avi’s lifetime interest in wildlife, the outdoors and picture taking has evolved,
with the kind help of friends from  the Israeli birding community into bird photography.

Avi, together with Mr. Mars Muusse (the Netherlands),
coordinates the White-eyed Gull pages at the Gull Research Group.
